The Challenge
Stonemont Retirement Living set out on constructing a three-tower luxury retirement community, aimed at accommodating a diverse range of needs. They needed a nurse-call system and a safe and secure card access system, supported by a surveillance system to ensure the utmost safety of their residents. Additionally, the wanted to create functional and attractive amenity spaces for the residents to enjoy their stay to the fullest. Capello Systems stepped up to create both.
The Solution
Our team designed a theatre and multipurpose space that are functional and distinguished, yet easy to use. A control system functions as the brains of the system, sending commands to the speakers and the projector. The projector can show content from a presenter laptop, or from our installed AV system, on the fixed screen mounted on the wall. Control is managed with a wall-mounted touch panel, with a customized graphical user interface (GUI) that is simple and intuitive.
We deployed an industry-leading nurse call system across the whole facility. The system provides real-time location service, highlighting the source of a pendant press or pull station on a map of the building. The server communicates with a mobile application, ensuring life-critical alerts reach the nursing staff in an immediate manner. The system also creates an ease of reporting, ensuring critical information is captured and available for medical purposes or family inquiries.
Stonemont received a card access system that is as refined as it is secure. By deploying a combination of wireless locks for the suites, wired locks for the facility and magnetic locks for secure areas, the card access system is designed to keep everyone safe and secure. Management, enrolment, and updating of credentials is easy with the server software, and the data is stored on the credential itself, meaning the system will still function if the network goes offline for any reason.

With all these systems in place and functioning for the safety and entertainment of the residents, living at Stonemont On the Park will feel like being on vacation. Families of the residents can rest assured knowing that their loved ones are safe and secure, and enjoying their life in their new community
