The Challenge
When Richcraft Homes was building a luxury condo building in Ottawa’s trendy Sandy Hill neighbourhood, and they knew they needed nothing but the best for their access control and audio visual. Capello rose to the occasion to deliver a product that is as rock solid as it is visually appealing.
The Solution
With 197 condos and 40 amenity and entry doors to control, we installed a system that could manage both: wireless locks for the units, and traditional wired electric locks for the others. The access system is easy to manage and secure to the industry’s highest standards. The locks are in constant communication to the card access server, ensuring accurate and detailed event logging and a smooth, efficient management experience.
The parkade and amenity spaces are monitored day in and day out by high definition surveillance cameras. Any activity is recorded and can be reviewed by administration remotely, or on-premises. Tenants can rest easy knowing that high-traffic and high-target areas are under a close watch.
Richcraft required a robust, secure network infrastructure to host their building-wide integrations. Capello Systems provided the structured cabling and installed all networking equipment to facilitate this, including configuring and managing WiFi and wired network devices. The result is a secure and well-designed network that meets all current requirements and has room for future growth.
